Josh and Hillary grew up in Sebastian, Florida. Josh and Hillary are the proverbial high school sweethearts, were married 2 years after graduation, and are the proud parents of 2 boys.
 
Josh joined the Army in 2009 and began his career as a Special Forces Engineer Sergeant. He earned the coveted Green Beret in 2011 and began deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to the countries of Afghanistan, Chad, and Niger. Josh Earned 2 Bronze Stars for his service overseas along with the Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Good Conduct Medal X3, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with 2 stars, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon X3, Army Service Ribbon, and the NATO Medal. He was also awarded the Combat Infantryman badge, Special Forces Tab, Ranger Tab, and Parachutist Badge.
